Wills
A Will is a very personal document which records your wishes for your property
and possessions following your death. We understand that it can be difficult to
make decisions about what we all hope is an event far off in the future. Our
Will-writing service is designed to make the whole process simple and affordable
and to give you peace of mind. We offer a step-by-step service which explains
everything clearly and constructively and we will guide you through the whole
process as painlessly as possible.
Lasting Powers of Attorney
These legal documents allow you to choose someone to represent you and act for
you in financial matters or in health and welfare matters whilst you are alive
should you no longer wish to, or should you become incapable of dealing with
these matters for yourself. We will listen to your concerns and help you
complete the formalities involved including registration at the Office of the
Public Guardian if required. A Lasting Power of Attorney must be registered
with the Office of the Public Guardian before it can be used.
Probate
Probate is a term used to describe the obtaining of an official Court Order
giving the executor or administrator legal authority to deal with the financial
and property matters of a deceased person. Estate administration is the process
of collecting the deceased’s assets, paying liabilities and tax, and
distributing the estate to the beneficiaries of the estate.
The responsibility of dealing with Probate and estate administration can be very
difficult, especially during a time of bereavement. After many years of
specialisation, we can support you throughout the process of winding up the
estate of a deceased friend or relative. |
